Bloody Mary Soup

serves 6

1/2 cup chopped white onions
1/2 cup chopped celery
5 cups tomato juice
2 tbs.tomato puree
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp.oregano
1/2 tsp.Colgin Worcestershire sauce
1 tbs lemon juice
2 tbs. butter
1/2 cup volka
salt and pepper to taste

In saucepan saute onions and celery in butter.
Add tomato puree,tomato juice,salt and pepper.
Simmer 10 minutes.Add remaining ingredients,
simmer 2-4 minutes.Strain.Return to heat and
simmer 5 minutes.Chill and serve cold.
