PORK CHOPS AND SAUERKRAUT

Ingredients:
4 boneless pork chops
1 (16 oz.) pkg. sauerkraut
1 Granny Smith apple, peeled and sliced
½ cup white wine
½ cup white onions
2 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon basil
1/4 teaspoon COLGIN NATURAL APPLE LIQUID SMOKE
salt and pepper to taste
cooking spray

Instructions:
Sprinkle chops with salt and pepper. Coat a large skillet with cooking spray. On low heat add pork chops and brown on both sides. In large glass bowl, combine sauerkraut, onions,apples, sugar, smoke and basil. Spoon over pork chops in skillet. Pour wine over chops and sauerkraut in skillet. Cover and simmer on low heat about 10 minutes or until pork is tender and apples are soft.
