MARINATED BEEF WITH BLACK OLIVES

Ingredients:
3 lbs lean chuck roast
4 carrots; cut in slices
1 white onion chopped
2 teaspoon ground garlic powder
½ cup black olives
3 cups egg noodles
1 teaspoon cornstarch

MARINADE:
1/4 teaspoon COLGIN NATURAL MESQITE LIQUID SMOKE
½ cup chopped onion
½ cup sherry
2 tablespoon olive oil
¼ cup chopped celery
1 teaspoon parsley
¼ teaspoon pepper
¼ teaspoon oregano
¼ teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon ground garlic
1/8 teaspoon tyme
1/cup white wine vinegar

Instructions:
Marinade:
Combine onion celery in heated oil in sauce pan,saute, add the remaining ingredients and simmer until done.

Beef:
Slice meat across the grain, thin slices. place beef in large bowl and cover all the meat with the marinade. Store in refrigerate over night. Remove the meat fron marinade. Strain the marinade & save sauce. Brown the meat in large skillet sprayed with cooking spray add the marinade covering all meat can use a little water. Add the carrots, garlic & olives. Bring to boil cover and simmer about 60 minutes. Add cornstarch and stir. Add to cooked noodles.
