BEEF AND MACARONI CASSEROLE # 2

serves 6

1 lb. ground sirloin
4 cups cooked macaroni
1 cup chopped onions
1 cup green peas
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1 cup chopped tomatoes
1/4 cup cilantro
2 cups shredded Monterey Jack Cheese
1 cup tomato sauce
1/2 cup red wine
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. oregano
1/8 tsp. Colgin Mesquite Liquid Smoke
salt and pepper to taste

In skillet brown beef with liquid smoke, garlic, oregano, salt and pepper. Simmer on low
heat 5-10 minutes. Drain. Combine tomato sauce,
wine, peas, mushrooms,onions cilantro and tomatoes. Heat for 5 minutes. Transfer macaroni to baking dish. Top with beef and sauce. Top with cheese. Bake in oven at 325 degrees for 20-30 minutes.
