BEEF AND BEAN CASSEROLE

serves 4

1 lb. ground chuck
2 cups kidney beans, drained
1 cup chopped red onion
1 8[oz.] tomato sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped green peppers
1 cup Monterey Jack Cheese
2 drops Colgin Hickory Liquid Smoke
salt and pepper to taste

In skillet brown beef and liquid smoke. Add
onions and peppers, simmer on low heat 5-6
minutes.Drain. Add bean,sugar,tomato sauce, salt and pepper. Transfer to baking dish, add cheese to mixture. Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 30-60 minutes.
