Colgin’s Smoked Turkey

serves 8

1-10 lb. turkey
1/4 cup butter,melted
1/4 cup Colgin hickory liquid smoke

In saucepan combine butter and liquid smoke.
Baste turkey with mixture;under the skin and
on skin.Place turkey in oven bag for roasting.
Close bag with tie.Cut 1/2 inch slits in bag.
Place turkey in baking dish.Bake in oven at
325 degrees 2-3 hours or until turkey is done.
