SWEET-SOUR BEEF POT ROAST

Ingredients:
4 lb. rump roast
2 red onions, sliced
4 tablespoons butter
¼ cup brown sugar
¼ teaspoon ground cloves
½ teaspoon ground garlic
½ cup beef broth
¼ cup honey
¼ cup lemon juice
1 teaspoon COLGIN NATURAL HICKORY LIQUID SMOKE
salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:
In Dutch oven, melt butter. Add meat and onions; brown turning frequently. Add the remaining ingredients. Cover with lid. Bake in oven at 300F for 3-4 hours.
