4 lb. beef spareribs
1 white onion sliced
1 (16oz.) bottle barbecue sauce
4 oz. COLGIN NATURAL HICKORY LIQUID SMOKE
salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon ground garlic
Brown ribs on baking rack in oven at 350F; boil for 30 minutes. Combine barbecue sauce, liquid smoke, garlic, salt and pepper in saucepan; heat on low heat 5 minutes. Remove ribs from oven; place in crock-pot and pour sauce over ribs. Cook on low 6-8 hours or over night.
