1 ½ cups shelled, almonds
2 teaspoon butter
2 teaspoon water
1 teaspoon COLGIN NATURAL HICKORY LIQUID SMOKE
salt to taste
Mix together smoke and water; pour over almonds and mix to coat. Place in shallow glass pan, cover and let stand overnight. Heat oven to 300F. When almonds are warm add about 2 teaspoons of butter. Toss to coat almonds, add more butter if needed. Roast in oven 40-45 minutes, stirring frequently. Sprinkle with salt. Store in cool container.
