MUSHROOM SAUCE

Number of Servings: 2 and ½ cups

INGREDIENTS:
¾ lbs. white mushrooms
1 cup chicken broth
2 teaspoon butter
1 teaspoon cilantro, chopped
½ teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon flour
¼ teaspoon COLGIN NATURAL APPLE LIQUID SMOKE
¼ cup dry sherry
1/8 teaspoon marjoram

INSTRUCTIONS:
In a saucepan, melt 1 tablespoon butter, add garlic and cilantro, cook 1 minute on low heat. Stir in flour. Gradually add the chicken broth, stirring cinstantly, add marjoram and smoke. In large skillet melt remaining butter and saute mushrooms until done. Combine mushrooms and sauce, simmer about 10 minutes, add sherry and bring to boil. Serve with fish, poultry or meat.
