1 (16 to 18 lb.) turkey
½ cup melted butter
½ teaspoon COLGIN NATURAL PECAN LIQUID SMOKE
6 to 8 cups cornbread dressing
Wash turkey and remove giblets from turkey, save these for giblet gravy. Add smoke to melted butter and baste turkey. Stuff turkey with dressing. Skewer turkey openings. Pre heat oven to 325F, place turkey in a roasting pan. Bake uncovered for 5 to 6 hours. If turkey browns too fast cover with foil. You can baste turkey with more butter if needed.
