RED BEAN BURGERS

serves 4

1- 15 oz. can red kidney beans. drained
1 egg, beaten
1/4 cup Italian bread crumbs
1/2 cup cooked brown rice
1/2 cup chopped red onions
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp basil
1 tsp. Colgin Worcestershire Sauce
salt  and pepper to taste
4 whole wheat hamburger buns

In blender, add beans, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
Mix well until beans are soft. Transfer to bowl and add remaining ingredients.
Except buns. Shape into 4 patties and grill until done, turning patties once.
Serve burgers on toasted buns. Add mayonnaise, mustard, spinach leaves,lettuce, tomatoes or pickles.
