PASTA FAGIOLE

serves 6

2 cups chicken broth
1 1/2 cups cooked macaroni
3 cups chopped tomatoes
1 1/2 cups cooked pinto beans
1/2 cup chopped green onions
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup thinly sliced fennel
2 tsp. chopped garlic pods
1 1/2 tbs. oregano
2 tbs. basil
2 tbs. olive oil
1 cup white shredded cheese
1-2 drops Colgin Worcestershire Sauce
salt and pepper to taste
chopped parsley

In large soup pan, heat oil, add onions, celery, garlic,and fennel. Simmer on low heat
3-4 minutes. Add broth, tomatoes and spices.
Simmer on low heat 20-30 minutes. Add beans,
macaroni and worcestershire sauce. Simmer on
low heat 40-60 minutes. Spoon into bowls and
top with cheese and parsley.
