BLACK BEAN SOUP # 2

serves 8

2 cup dried black beans
1 cup chopped ham
2 quarts water
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup chopped onion
1/8 tsp. thyme
1/8 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp.basil
1/4 cup sherry
1 tsp. Colgin Worcestershire Sauce
salt and pepper to taste

Soak beans in water over night. Drain. Add water to soup pot and bring to boil. Cook beans
on low heat 1-2 hours. Add the remaining
ingredients and simmer on low heat 1 hour.
